About my work
Celebrations deserve a better ending than in the waste bin. I transform caps, wire cages, corks and more from sparkling wine bottles into art that celebrates craftsmanship and sustainability. Every miniature scene is carefully made by hand with meticulous attention to detail. The scenes are then displayed in reclaimed wine boxes which have been lovingly restored through sanding, painting or varnishing. Professionally framed and fitted with art glass, each finished piece is one-of-a-kind artwork that feels at home at vineyards, wine merchants, hospitality venues and stylish homes.
Sustainable Art
I've spent much of my career working in sustainability and I've learned that waste is a resource with untapped potential. Circularity is about finding ways to keep materials in use for longer and phasing out waste.
My miniature pieces alone won’t save the planet (if only) - the amounts of waste I divert away from treatment or landfill are negligible. However, if it sparks a little curiosity, triggers conversations and inspires people to think differently about waste materials, then that's the win I’m looking for.
